Privacy Policy

Hi! We’re Flourish in Faith Collective (FIFC), founded by Jordan Allison. This page just explains what info we collect from you when you visit our site or book with us, and how we use it. We keep this simple and straightforward — no legal maze here. Our website address is: https:/flourishinfaithcollective.com.

What We Collect

When you fill out a contact or booking form, we collect things like your name, email, phone number, event date, and event details. We collect this through Google Forms, so submitted information is also stored within our Google Workspace account.

If you book with us, that info also gets shared with Square and/or Venmo for Business (our payment processors) to handle your invoice, deposit, and payments.

If you opt in to text reminders about your booking, your phone number is also used to send transactional messages (like payment reminders or event-day updates) via text.

If you reach out to us through Instagram (direct message or comment), we may collect the information you share with us there in order to respond to your inquiry.

How We Use It

• Respond to your inquiry and get your event booked
• Send invoices, contracts, and reminders about your balance
• Occasionally follow up after your event (We love seeing how the walls turned out!)

We don’t sell your information. Ever. It stays between us and the tools we use to run Flourish in Faith Collective. (Square, Venmo for Business, Google Workspace for email, and my booking system).

Cookies & Analytics

This site runs on WordPress.com, which may use basic cookies to keep the site running smoothly.

Embedded Content

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Media Uploads

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How Long We Retain Your Data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We keep your booking and contact info for as long as needed to complete your event and for my business records afterward (typically a few years, for tax and legal purposes). If you just reach out with a question and never book, we will only hold onto that info as long as it’s useful for following up with you.

How We Protect Your Data

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, including using trusted, secure platforms (Square, Google Workspace, Venmo) to store and process your data. No online system is 100% secure, but we don’t take your information lightly.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Who I share data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Your Rights?

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at any time — just email us at info@flourishinfaithcollective.com and we’ll take care of it. (Note: we may need to keep certain records, like paid invoices, for legal/tax purposes even after a deletion request.)

Children’s Policy

Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please reach out and we’ll remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Flourish in Faith Collective grows. The most current version will always be posted here, and we’ll update the date at the top when changes are made.
